DESCRIPTION We are searching for an enthusiastic Event Coordinator with a "can-do" attitude to assist our organization in hosting events that enhance the whole downtown West Bend to improve continued tourism and enhancing our presence in Washington County and Wisconsin. The Event Coordinator will be tasked with researching entertainment, vendors, co-planning and managing our events' calendar, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing, monitoring timeframes and budgets, networking, maintaining relationships with vendors, area businesses and sponsor, and delivering on event brief objectives to ensure success of all events. Your creativity, organizational skills, and vision will assist our organization in amplifying brand visibility, enhancing the Downtown West Bend and improving our organization's growth through events that effectively communicate Downtown West Bend welcoming personality. The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, and excellent time-management. The noteworthy Event Coordinator should reinforce client-to-business relations, improve the organization's image, and effectively deliver event objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts
Handling budgeting and invoicing
Liaising and negotiating with vendors
Negotiating sponsorship deals
Handling logistics
Updating senior management
Managing branding and communication
Developing event feedback surveys
Handling post-event reports
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field (preferred, but not required)
Events Management (1 year preferred)
Customer Service (1 year preferred)
Communication and marketing skills
Project management experience
Good leadership skills
Highly Organized
Multi-tasker
Good time management
Proficiency in various event software
Expert interpersonal skills
Risk management experience
Proficient in using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, email and web
